Description of R48-2000A3
The 2000W high-efficiency eSure™ rectifier ( model R48-2000A3) is designed to convert standard AC supply voltages into stable nominal -48 V DC voltage that is adjustable to application needs. The R48-2000a3 is aconstant power rectifier designed with the latest patented switchmode technology, using DSP (Digital Signaling Processor) functionality for efficient operation.
For a higher load capacity, rectifiers can be connected in parallel, and intelligent control can be added with the help of a separate controller.
Parameters of R48-2000A3
1. Emerson r48-2000a3 input over / under voltage protection
When the input voltage is less than 80vac ± 5vac or more than 305vac ± 5vac, the protection indicator light (yellow light) will be on, and the module will stop working without output. When the input voltage is within the range of 97.5-295vac, the rectifier module automatically returns to normal operation.
When the overvoltage protection event occurs, the module will report to the monitoring module.
2. Emerson r48-2000a3 output overvoltage protection
The rectifier module has output over-voltage hardware protection and output over-voltage software protection. The hardware over-voltage protection point is 59.5v ± 0.5V. After the hardware over-voltage protection, it can be started only after manual intervention. The software protection point can be set through the monitoring module. The setting range is 56-59v, which is higher than the output voltage by more than 0.5V. The factory default value is 59V.
The software overvoltage protection mode can be selected through the monitoring module:
1) primary overvoltage locking mode
When the rectifier module has software overvoltage, the rectifier module is shut down and maintained, and can be recovered only after manual intervention;
2) Secondary overvoltage locking mode
After the rectifier module is protected by software, it shall be restarted within 5 seconds after shutdown. If the second overvoltage occurs within the set time (default is 5 minutes, which can be set through the monitoring module), the rectifier module shall be shut down and maintained, and can be started only after manual intervention. Manual intervention method: the rectifier module can be reset by monitoring module, or it can be reset by separating the rectifier module from the power system.
When overvoltage fault occurs, the module reports the fault signal to the monitoring module for corresponding processing.
3. Emerson r48-2000a3 over temperature protection
When the air inlet of the module is blocked, the ambient temperature is too high, or the fan fault causes the internal temperature of the module to reach 98 ℃, the protection indicator light (yellow light) on the module panel will be on, and the module will stop working without output. When the abnormal conditions are cleared and the temperature inside the module returns to normal, the module will automatically return to work and the over temperature alarm disappears.
When the over temperature protection occurs, the module reports the alarm signal to the monitoring module for corresponding processing.
4. Emerson r48-2000a3 PFC output over / under voltage protection
When the bus voltage inside the module exceeds the over / under voltage protection point, the module will automatically shut down for protection, the module has no output, and the protection indicator light (yellow light) on the module panel is on.
When the PFC input overvoltage protection occurs, the module reports the alarm signal to the monitoring module for corresponding processing.
5. Emerson r48-2000a3 fan fault protection
When the fan fails, the module will generate a fan fault alarm, the fault indicator light (red light) on the module panel will flash, and the module will shut down without voltage output. After the fault is eliminated, it can automatically return to normal operation.
When the fault event occurs, the module reports the alarm signal to the monitoring module for corresponding processing.
6. Emerson r48-2000a3 short circuit protection
The rectifier module adopts the constant current protection mode. When the output short circuit occurs, the output current of the module is kept constant, and the current ≤ 33A, which effectively protects itself and external equipment. When the short circuit fault disappears, the module automatically recovers.
7. Emerson r48-2000a3 output current imbalance
When multiple rectifier modules are used in parallel in the system, the modules with large current sharing error can be identified automatically and the protection indicator light (yellow light) on the module panel will be lit;
When the average current of the module on the system is more than 6a and the current of the module is less than 1a, it is judged as a serious non-uniform current fault, and the red light is on; when there are two or more modules with the same ID on the same system, the red light is on.
If the output current of the module is seriously unbalanced, the modules with current sharing error greater than 5A and no output of the module can be identified automatically, and the fault indication (red light) on the module panel will be turned on.
After the fault is eliminated, it can automatically return to normal operation.
When the fault event occurs, the module reports the alarm signal to the monitoring module for corresponding processing.
8. Emerson r48-2000a3 background communication interrupted
After the communication of the module is interrupted, the protection indicator light (yellow light) on the module panel flashes. When the module communication is restored, the protection indicator light (yellow light) on the module panel returns to normal. When the module communication is normal, the module automatically returns to work.
In order to protect the battery, when the module communication fails, the output voltage of the module changes to 53.5v (according to the actual needs, different voltages can be set in advance).
