power slot
CloudEngine 6800 Series switches contain two power slots that allow the installation of pluggable power modules. Users can use a single-supply module or a dual-power module to power the switch, and the use of dual-power module power supply provides greater reliability for the switch.
fan slots
CloudEngine 6800 Series switches provide four fan module slots for system stability and thermal quality by installing pluggable fan modules for forced cooling.
when the switch is in normal use, it is recommended that four fan modules be in place at the same time. the fan module supports hot backup, after the failure of the single fan module, the system supports normal operation in the short term, but it is recommended to replace the faulty fan module immediately.
all fan modules are hot-swappable.
Depending on the power module and fan module using different air ducts, the cooling air ducts of CloudEngine 6800 Series switches can be divided into front and rear air ducts or rear front air ducts.
CE6857-48S6CQ-EI does not have a management network port indicator, the service interface indicator is 10GE, 40/100GE interface indicator, and the remaining panel indicators are similar to CE6865-48S8CQ-EI, which is exemplified here with CE6865-48S8CQ-EI.
