Ubiquiti's U-PoE-AF is a 48V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE injector that is compatible with many Ubiquiti PoE devices.
Surge protection, anti-pinch protection, maximum surge and peak pulse current are features that help protect PoE devices.
The Injector also provides protection against electrostatic discharge ESD which is the main cause of failure of external devices.
